THE INDEPENDENCE DAY
15TH of August is Independence day . On this day in 1947, India become free from the Britishers . Since then the day is celebrated as independence day by the people of India.
On this day in Delhi,the Priminister hoists the national flag at the Red Fort .The national flag is also hoisted in all schools, colloages, government and private office. After that the national anthem is sung . The primeminister delivers speech about the lives of patriots and freedom struggle. We take inspiration from them. Children get sweets on this day in their schools .
The independence day is a national holiday . All schools, collages, and offices are closed on this day .
On this day we take uath to do our duties towards our Mother land.
