"Mummy, mummy,come here quickely.It seems that someone has made a tunnel in our kitchen,"Jessie shouted.Mummy came running. "A tunnel?"Mummy waas amazed.She noticed a hole in the kitchen. "Oh..." cried Mummy,"But there as no holle till last night." "No, mummy. It seems that some danger is involved in this," said jessie and took out a lens and a torch from her small bag. She flodded the hole with light from her torch. "Furr...rr..." A small mouse jumped out of the hole, scratched Jessie's nose as he ran and disappered.
"Hee...hee..." Mummy laughed out loud.
Mummy went away.Jessie pulled out thegoggles from her head and sat down near the hole, "This mouse acted smart and scratched my nose too. I do not know when I would become a succesful detective."
These days Jessie was in her world, trying to use her spying mind. She always tried to use her detective tactics.That night Jessie was not sleepy. She stood at the window facing the garden. Suddenly she noticed 2 masked man entring their garden.They were thieves.
Both of them walked toward the back door and stood near the store room. jessie opened the door slowly and followed them. The thieves went into the store room and were looking for something. Jessie stood at one corner of the room. "Something is pricking my back" said Jessie and tried to find out by strtching her hand at her back and she found a broken umbrella. Jessie picked it up and threw it out.
"Ouch!" she heard a shout.The umbrella hit one of the thieves. Jessie noticed in the dim light that hte thief was lying on the ground hurt.
"Great! One is gone, one more to go."Before Jessie could be happy over her success the second thief helped his friend to get up and they both walked toward the kitchen. Jessie followed them to the kitchen."Wow! It is so much fun in this detective game," Jessie uttered."I am hungry now.." jessie opened the refrigerator. But she did not find anything to eat."Why Mummy does not store yummy food in the fridge?"
Jessie was angery . She took out the water bottles from the fridge and threw them away.Bottles hit the thieves one after another. She threw everything that she foound in the fridge.It was chaos in the kitchen . Mummy and papa came running as they heard the noise. They switched on the light and saw the 2 thieves one after another
lying unconscience on the floor. They were lying in a heap of bttles and vessels. Jessie was standing red in anger.
"Mummy, why don't you store food in the fridge?
I am hungry right now," said Jessie while hugging her mother. She did not realise that her detective brain helped to catch the 2 most wanted thieves. papa called the police and the thieves were arrested. The inspector patted on JHessie's back as he listened to the whole incident. He said,"Wow!well done Jessie. I think that you will be a famous detective."
Everybody smiled at this.
